Saturday, April 25, 2015 – July Cotton Futures Gain 305 Points on the Week
By admin in UncategorizedThe July moved significantly higher on Friday, gaining 89 points and settling at 66.34 for a 305 point weekly gain. The settlement was within the upper one quarter of the trading range. Dec gained 48 points to settle at 65.62, the net effect leaving the July – Dec spread strengthened at 72.

By admin in Daily ReportsOur longer-term suggestion remains unchanged – keep an eye on opportunities to buy the Mar16, May16 and July16 calls, for these are the contract months when a major demand-driven, US supply-constrained rally are most likely to happen.
For next week, the standard technical analysis remains friendly, with the market not yet overbought. The export report will likely again be respectable, at least. We’re still working on the complete analysis this weekend, but this market likely has a bit of upside potential left in it.
