Monday, October 26, 2015 – Cotton Futures Continue to Move Lower Ahead of Index Roll Periods
By admin in Daily ReportsThe Dec contract lost 63 points today, settling at 62.13. The settlement was within the lower one half of the trading range, which was all southward of Fri’s settlement. Mar lost 67 points, settling at 61.93, the net effect leaving the Dec – Mar spread strengthened at 20. Volume quickened D/D in the Dec contract at approximately 13.7K contracts while Dec OI contracted at approximately 111.7K contracts.

Sunday October 25, 2015 – Weekly Cotton and Grain Market Report and Forecast
By admin in Weekly ReportsICE Dec futures gave up 109 points last week on relatively heavy volume, settling at 62.76. The outcome was on par with expectations put forth here last week. Cotton was the largest mover among the US Ags, with most grain markets finishing the week near unchanged.
