By admin in Weekly ReportsThe cotton market joined the grains in the winner’s column last week, although cotton’s weekly gain was muted at a mere 9 points vs the previous Friday’s settlement. After spending the first three days of the week making new intraday lows and life of contract low settlements, the market found some support on its much oversold condition, gaining 67 points over the last two days and trading as high as 61.17 on Friday.

Friday, September 25, 2015 – Dec Finishes With Small Weekly Gain
By admin in Daily ReportsThe Dec contract picked up 33 points, settling at 60.64 – a 9 point weekly gain. The settlement was within the upper one half of today’s trading range. Mar gained 22 points, settling at 60.34, the net effect leaving the Dec – Mar spread strengthened at 30. Despite today’s attempt to move significantly higher, the lower boundary of the recent trading range at 61.20 stopped upward movement.

By admin in Weekly ReportsThe cotton market joined the grains in the winner’s column this week, although cotton’s weekly gain was muted at a mere 9 points vs last Friday’s settlement. After spending the first three days of this week making new intraday lows and life of contract low settlements, the market found some support on its much oversold condition, gaining 67 points over the last two days and trading as high as 61.17 today.
