By admin in Daily ReportsMay cotton futures gapped lower on the opening bell, making their daily low within the first minute of trading before ultimately gaining 64 points D/D, settling at 65.55. The May contract made a new intraday high for the current move at 65.91. Our model called it correctly, although I was concerned with speculative liquidation ahead of a US cotton export report that holds the potential for considerable weakness.
